Days 23-25: 31 Days to Great Sex

Did she seriously just say that? "...married Christians enjoy sex more than those who aren't married..."

WTF?!!!

So, I'm married. But it's not marriage that made my sex life better. It's a long term relationship with a man who makes me feel comfortable and works hard to make sure I find pleasure in sex. Number 1...you don't have to be Christian to like sex. Number 2...you don't have to be married. I liked sex before I was married. I like it now.

So here statement is not only misinformed. It's naive.

I also don't believe that sexual exploration needs to necessarily be risky or pornographic. Nor do I feel pornography necessarily cheapens intimacy. It really depends on the relationship two people have.

Seriously, I'll just be honest her for a second. My husband and I have explored all kinds of things together. We've tried being "swingers," we've watched porn, we've found D/s and tried to make it our own. And every thing we try brings us closer together. Because we try it together...with the sole purpose of stretching our boundaries and making each other happy.

Porn is also NOT morally wrong to everyone. So saying it is is simply being judgmental. I have an issue with her book here, too.

But...

Her FUN ideas on day 25 are pretty good, I have to admit. I like them. Interesting ways to use dice and drawing slips of paper with each person's fantasies or likes (instead of relying on a prepared game that may not actually address your real desires).
