I've been here before...the "please just get it over with...I'll lay here quietly and let you have your way." Guys hate the limp fish. He actually asked that I get more involved. And when I tried, I was so out of practice that even when I did what I thought was good movement or touch...he still didn't feel wanted. I really had to turn it up several notches for him to notice what I was doing.
The main point I got from that is...subtlety is lost on men. There is little place for it in the bedroom...or anywhere really, because men need noticeable feedback. They need to be told and shown in big ways. Think "flashing neon lights." It might feel silly to you...and over the top...but to them, it's just right.
